Job Description:
The Manager of High School Completion will support UP Partnership’s Future Ready Bexar County plan by strengthening academic and student support strategies that increase high school graduation rates. This role focuses on ensuring more young people complete high school prepared for their next step, whether that is college, career, or other training opportunities.
The Manager works in close collaboration with the Senior Manager of Workforce Partnerships and Senior Manager of Postsecondary Partnerships to ensure alignment between high school completion efforts and postsecondary and workforce pathways. This position also coordinates with school districts, community organizations, and justice-sector partners to track, analyze, and improve graduation outcomes across Bexar County.
This is not a direct service role, but a systems-focused position that helps partners coordinate strategies, share effective practices, and align resources for impact.
Responsibilities Include:
Partnership Building

Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, community organizations, and justice partners to expand strategies that improve graduation outcomes.

Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Postsecondary & Workforce to connect high school completion with postsecondary and workforce readiness.

Support networks and working groups that address student success and graduation.
Event Logistics

Assist in organizing partner meetings, work sessions, and community convenings (e.g., scheduling, agendas, materials, and follow-up).
Data & Strategy

Track and report on student completion data across partner districts, with a focus on identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement.

Research and share effective practices that combine academic supports, student engagement, and social-emotional development.

Provide insights that inform collaborative strategies for improving outcomes.
Operations & Sustainability

Support Director with tracking milestones, reporting, and budget forecasting related to high school completion initiatives.

Works with the internal data team to ensure accurate and transparent data tracking.

Assist Senior Managers in K-12 Postsecondary by coordinating projects and aligning efforts across the portfolio.

Contribute positively to organizational culture and teamwork.
