Accounts Specialist (A/P & A/R)

Join SERVPRO® Team Cuthbertson as an Accounts Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in our financial success and ensure smooth office processes and effective accounts management.
In this role, you will primarily handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable along with general bookkeeping support. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional who excels in customer contact and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform collection activities daily providing professional follow-up on outstanding balances with customers
- Maintain an average collections below 45 days
- Record payments to customer accounts with daily deposits
- Prepare electronic payments and checks for approval
- Reconcile expenses and credit card statements
- Maintain clean and organized financial records within QuickBooks Enterprise
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Ensure financial digital and physical files are organized and up to date
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experienced in a similar A/P, A/R, or bookkeeping role
- Direct experience with collection activities
- Working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting software
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and clean driving record; subject to applicable law.
