Caliber is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Asset and Fund Analytics to join our team locally in Scottsdale, AZ.

This position is primarily responsible for leading portfolio analytics, performance measurement, and financial modeling across the Company’s real estate assets and investment funds. This role serves as a key bridge between asset management and finance by translating property-level performance into fund-level financial insights.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead the Asset and Fund Analytics function, overseeing the Asset Analyst and Fund Analyst and ensuring the delivery of high-quality portfolio analytics, financial modeling, and performance reporting across the platform.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including scenario modeling, asset and fund level builds, and trend analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Support and help drive debt financing initiatives across the portfolio, including underwriting, refinancing analysis, capital structure evaluation, and lender financing strategies at both the asset and fund level.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support key decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Track and report key performance indicators including NOI, occupancy, revenue trends, operating margins, and asset-level cash flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and assumptions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Provide support in evaluating and analyzing investment opportunities, including financial due diligence, ROI analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of capital events such as refinancings, recapitalizations, asset sales, and distributions.
  • Consolidate asset-level financial performance into fund-level reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to management, offering proactive solutions and strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and ongoing mentorship to analyst staff, including performance management, professional development, technical training, and workload oversight to ensure a high-performing and scalable department function.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and changes in accounting standards that may impact financial analysis and reporting.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, as assigned by management.

             

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field of study (Finance or Accounting preferred).
  • Advanced excel modeling skills required.
  • 6+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management analytics, or investment analytics.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with deep understanding of real estate performance metrics.
  • Experience with portfolio reporting, fund-level analytics, and investment performance measurement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use best judgement to work through challenges.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to processes and deal with ambiguity.
  • Clear, effective oral and written communication skills are required - must be careful listener and clear communicator.
