Delivery Driver
My Green Lunch is looking for self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team as a part time Delivery Driver. You will work with a great team in a family-feeling environment. Drivers receive a $1,000 retention bonus if they work from their hire date through the end of our school year
About the Position:
- HOURS: Weekdays starting at 6:45 am, end times vary between 11:00 and 12:00 pm
- Ability to work well with peers, customers, and the community in a professional manner
- Strong understanding of customer service and the importance of meeting customers/school’s needs.
- Work well under pressure and remain calm, even in stressful situations.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to follow precise directions, including time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and comfortable with a daily routine that can change every day or stay the same for weeks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Knowledge of work safety rules, including equipment use, proper lifting techniques and safe driving skills, all in order to keep a safe work environment for themselves and the MGL team.
- Positive attitude and teamwork mentality are important in our work environment, as you will be sorting, loading and providing support to other drivers and kitchen staff
- Attend staff meetings and events, as well as perform other duties as assigned
- There is a possibility of additional hours and responsibility in our kitchen for those candidates interested.
Requirements:
* 1 year professional driving experience
- Able to drive a cargo van
* Must be 25 Years of age or older
* Ability to lift 80 pounds
* Good vision, both close and distance
* Clean CA DMV driving record
* Must pass a background check (livescan)
