TeachTown, the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking a qualified Inside Sales Development Representative (SDR) to screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal Inbound SDR has an  understanding of the sales process and will learn how to research leads, start new relationships with decision makers, and set up Account Executives (AE) for success. The SDR should be curious, a quick learner, have strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offering in a compelling and relevant way.

Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth and profitability.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy provided by your manager to prioritize those leads

  • Utilize Salesforce, calls, emails, and other communication channels to meet and exceed a set number of new sales opportunities per month that come from inbound sources

  • Meet and exceed an agreed upon number of meeting per month with special education decision makers

  • Identify the gaps keeping prospects from achieving their district goals and suggest appropriate products and services to help them achieve their desired state

  • Create and maintain account, contact and opportunity records in Salesforce.

  • Learn how to anticipate and overcome objections

  • Build credibility and trust with partners

  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization

 

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or telemarketing or relevant internship experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 

  • A curiosity for understanding the special education industry as well as various sales processes and methodologies

  • The ability to persevere and overcome objection to achieve long term goals



Preferred Experience:

  • At least 6 months of demonstrated success with prospecting activities, such as fundraising, sales, or recruiting

 

Work Authorization:

  • US Work Authorization is required.
