TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. We are seeking a part-time (30 hours/week), temporary Orders Specialist to support our Finance team in our HQ office starting in May through the end of September. This is a hybrid position with an anticipated schedule of 2 days in the office (Mondays and Wednesdays) and the remaining hours remote.  Only applicants who reside within a commuting distance (up to 1 hour one way) of Woburn, MA will be considered.

 

This role will be responsible for supporting the Finance team with data entry, orders, and other administrative tasks as needed.  



Job Description:

  • Process a high volume of orders both efficiently and accurately - this includes and is not limited to: reviewing Salesforce data, creating contracts in our accounting system, adding subscription licenses to our website, maintaining appropriate documentation, and reviewing shipment information for physical goods. 

  • Responsible for entering, transcribing, recording, maintaining, and storing information in written or electronic form.

  • Navigate Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and our company website with ease after training

  • Facilitates sales order process by ensuring order details are accurate both internally and externally through cross team communication. 

  • Perform additional admin tasks as needed, for example, data entry to support depositing checks and manually cutting checks in the office

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Some college preferred

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM tool

  • Strong data entry and organizational skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Proven ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. 

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information. 

  • Live within commuting distance of our company HQ in Woburn, MA
