TeachTown is a leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments.  Our growing team of professionals is seeking a freelance graphic designer to assist in a project-based capacity. 

 

This freelance role will work directly with the Director of Content Marketing Strategy to create marketing collateral, including eBooks, white papers, social media graphics, handouts, brochures, and more, that is visually appealing and on-brand. 

 

Applicants will be required to submit work samples or portfolios in addition to their resume. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and design various print and digital materials based on marketing requests 

  • Use the appropriately branded colors, fonts and layouts for each graphic

  • Prepare rough drafts and advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects

  • Revise designs after feedback has been received

  • Manage multiple projects within design specifications, budget limitations, and deadlines

  • Ensure projects are completed and delivered in a timely manner with a quality end result 

 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • At least 2+ years of graphic design experience (print & digital) in either a freelance or full-time design role

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photoshop,  InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative marketing projects

  • Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
