TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead a team of SDRs to create qualified opportunities for our sales team members, train members of the SDR team, and manage the operational and administrative tasks that will support the SDR team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

  • Actively participate in the recruitment process by interviewing, and onboarding new SDR team members if applicable.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of  SDR’s remotely to surpass their goals.

  • Drive the development and execution of outbound prospecting initiatives.

Performance Management

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on individual and team performance against KPIs.

  • Provide regular feedback and collaborate with New Business Sales leadership and Marketing  to define and refine the sales process. 

  • Proactively evaluate and recommend new ways to ensure that SDR’s are hitting key metrics 

Lead Generation

  • Oversee and contribute to the identification and qualification of new business opportunities.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to align campaigns with outbound prospecting efforts.

  • Represent the company at relevant industry events to build brand awareness and generate new business leads.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Basic Requirements:

  • 4+ years of successful new business sales experience

  • 2+ years of people management experience with at least 1 direct report utilizing a player/coach people leadership methodology

  • Demonstrated success with: leading cold prospecting activities, such as fundraising, sales, or recruiting, utilization of sales methodologies, pipeline management activities, and usage of CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce).

  • Experience prioritizing and managing time effectively

  • A strong history of meeting and exceeding measurable performance goals

  • A strong history of showing a growth mindset that thrives in a culture of coaching, feedback, and encourages self reflection and personal development 

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Edtech or SaaS industry experience 

  • Building and scaling a diverse and inclusive SDR team

 

Work Authorization:

  • US Work Authorization is required.
