TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments.  We have an immediate full-time opening for a Warehouse Associate to assist in our warehouse operations and activities.  This position will be based in our Woburn, MA headquarters location and the anticipated hours will be 9 am - 5 pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and document all incoming inventory and stock items against vendor purchase orders– report discrepancies

  • Assembly of all program related resource kits

  • Pick, pack and ship via UPS Worldship and ShipLeap against all customer orders

  • Maintain inventory accuracy

  • Procurement of warehouse related supplies

  • Maintain inventory controls to ensure audit compliance

  • Implement operational policies and procedures

  • Accurately maintain any company databases including stock and warehouse items

  • Ensuring effective and safe use of any warehouse equipment.

  • Manage any temporary staff needed during peak seasons

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years warehouse experience

  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures

  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • Available to work extended hours (seasonal)

  • Physical requirements include the ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs
