TeachTown is seeking a Program Implementation Specialist based in the greater New York City area.  This role will be responsible for delivering onboarding, onsite/virtual product training & coaching to NYC schools and surrounding high enrollment districts.  Candidates must live within a commuting distance to NYC.  


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Onboarding:

  • Oversee and project manage the onboarding process from Account Kick-Off thru Go Live.  This includes and is not limited to conducting kick off meetings alongside the Account Management and Customer Success teams to review customer expectations, creating and coordinating implementation plans with milestones and deliverables, anticipating potential issues and proactively managing solutions, communicating and disseminate project information to customers and internal teams on a regular basis. 

  • Work with district IT to set up users within the TeachTown platform.

  • Set up and implement rostering, student/teacher import, and Single Sign On where appropriate.

  • Maintain timelines with mutual accountability to ensure major onboarding milestones are met.

Training:

  • Provide direct training to K-12 educators via onsite and webinars on TeachTown's suite of products, including our core curriculum solution, enCore. 

  • Deliver training programs for groups of 20-100+ teachers and administrators.

  • Collaborate with the internal TeachTown team and the district on solutions for classroom or technology issues in real-time.

  • Coordinate with the internal training team on long-term improvements to training processes and scheduling.

Coaching:

  • Provide direct support on the implementation of TeachTown solutions in classrooms via web or onsite coaching.  

  • Collaborate with the internal TeachTown team to identify areas of growth for classrooms using TeachTown solutions.  

  • Provide insight from previous experience to effectively mentor users in applying TeachTown solutions to their classrooms.  This includes and is not limited to providing recommendations on best practices and/or industry standards.   

  • Review data on usage and progress to inform next steps/interventions for districts implementing TeachTown.  This includes and is not limited to generating summary reports detailing successes, challenges, and next steps for each implementation. 


Required Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field

  • 3-5 years of Special Education classroom teaching experience or experience in a school leadership role (e.g., specialist or administrator) in public school setting 

  • 2+ years of experience providing training, support, and coaching in school settings

  • Experience engaging in cross-functional initiatives with set timelines

  • Eligibility to work and travel within the United States


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience interacting and presenting to senior school leadership (director, superintendents) 

  • BCBA certification

  • Applicable work experience in a Top 100 district preferred (enrollment 50,000+)


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • This position is expected to travel on-site to New York City schools when needed and therefore must live within commuting distance of NYC.

  • This position must be willing and able to travel within the United States.

    • The position requires a high level of travel within the U.S. during peak back-to-school season (July-Oct)

  • Must be willing to support and provide professional development across multiple U.S. time zones

  • Required to perform activities that entail: fine and gross motor, kneeling, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
