TeachTown is seeking a Part-Time Accountant to join our finance team. The focus will be managing vendor bills, processing customer payments, and assisting in month-end close. The position will report into the Senior Accountant and is expected to be around 20 hours a week, flexible on days and times.

This role is onsite in our Woburn, MA office.

Responsibilities:

 Process vendor bills into financial system.

 Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices.

 Create routine journal entries as part of month-end close.

 Perform bank reconciliations.

 Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including prepaids, fixed assets, etc.

 Other ad hoc projects as needed. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

 3-5 years experience in Accounting, Finance, or bookkeeping

 Detailed oriented individual who is able to operate independently

 Working knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus.
