TeachTown, the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will empower staff at school districts across the US and Canada to improve outcomes for their most complex learners by leveraging TeachTown’s software. You will be tasked with building, maintaining, and cultivating relationships with our most strategic customers. By understanding your clients’ goals and objectives, you’ll identify opportunities for growth, provide comprehensive reporting, and help build executive consensus to implement and optimize new strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the relationship and ultimate success of a portfolio of TeachTown’s clients, including strategy development, product optimization, growth, and retention   

  • Maximize value for your clients by influencing decision-makers to implement TeachTown according to best practices and by leveraging our entire suite of services

  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within assigned accounts

  • Effectively identify, respond to and resolve client retention risks both independently and through collaboration with TeachTown teammates

  • Transform clients into champions by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication, conducting routine performance reporting, strategic planning, and executive business reviews

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients, understanding their objectives, strategies, and KPIs

  • Serve as your clients’ advocate internally by liaising with senior leaders across TeachTown including new business sales, marketing, product, support, and training

  • Drive customer advocacy in the form of case studies, testimonials, and referrals 

  • Leverage Salesforce.com to track sales activities and prioritize your day

  • Develop and provide timely and accurate reporting of forecasts, account plans, and territory growth activities.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years successful field sales/account management/client success experience preferably in EdTech or 3+ years in special education as an administrator/teacher with a desire to move into a field sales role

  • Consultative and solution-oriented sales mindset

  • Ability to deliver results, work within a “team first” environment and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit- You are the CEO of your territory.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills with demonstrable ability to understand our programs and deliver successful presentations to decision-makers

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple relationships while setting priorities and remaining organized 

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the capacity to independently build convincing, data-driven proposals

  • Proactive, confident and energetic attitude with the desire to be a key player on a high-performing, fun-loving team

  • Ability to travel 20%+/-
