TeachTown, the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help improve TeachTown's intelligence layer and reporting to value creation. As the Senior Technical Product Manager you will partner with our Engineering, Curriculum, Marketing and Sales teams to define product requirements for our products. You will form a deep understanding of our customers through research and data and partner with the engineering team to deliver products and solutions that delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Chief Product and Technology Officer and Director of Product Management and Product Marketing to define technical product vision and strategy considering market trends, customer needs, business goals along with technical considerations

Understand users and what they need/value – internally and externally, be the voice of users by creating clear product and technical requirements that solve real business needs

Engage directly with clients to obtain and implement feedback including leading the discovery process

Analyze data to draw insights from current product performance to deliver on key user metrics

Lead a cross-functional team consisting of Product, UX, and Engineering to solve TeachTown’s business problems and deliver against our product strategy

Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to gather technical requirements and prioritize them based on value, feasibility, and technical constraints.

Accept completed engineering work ensuring defined doneness has been met

Document user personas and write user stories and acceptance criteria

Develop and improve products by aligning business and technical needs, defining business value (impact and strategic importance), defining and measuring success of their product through product and business outcomes in partnership with business stakeholders
Requirements:

10 years of experience in product management and/or engineering

5+ years of experience defining complex data and technical requirements for new systems, apps and architectures

3 years of experience working in education and/or LMS systems preferred

Demonstrated results in on time, on quality, on scope product releases that achieve high user experience and NPS ratings

Exceptional writing and articulation skills for clear, concise product requirements

Can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross functional teams

Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a ‘team-first’ environment

Knowledge of basic design principles and user experience a plus
