TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking a Sales Operations & Enablement Manager.   In this role, you will be responsible for leading critical business initiatives that will improve our operating efficiency and performance, owning sales metrics analyses, and supporting the development of go to market strategies that will continue to drive revenue growth.

 

You will work as a trusted advisor and provide sales strategy support, enablement, process analysis, and recommendations to the Sales Leadership Team regarding best practices

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive sales and operational efficiencies across the company, collaborating closely with Customer Experience, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product 

  • Ensure the sales teams are well-prepared and equipped to meet their sales targets by designing and delivering training programs, supporting the onboarding of new sales staff, and providing ongoing education to sharpen the skills of the sales team

  • Support the development of reporting systems to monitor sales activities, forecast sales performance, and identify areas needing improvement

  • Regularly review key sales metrics and forecasts and with sales leadership and provide actionable insight

  • Ensure that the CRM system is used effectively across the sales team and that it supports the overall sales strategy.  This includes and is not limited to collaborating closely with the Salesforce Administrator to ensure requirements are captured accurately, ensuring all sales team members are trained in utilizing the system, and data review.

  • Serve as the communications liaison between the sales team and other departments (Product, Customer Experience, Finance, HR, etc).  This includes ensuring that all stakeholders are updated and informed about any changes or updates in the sales strategies and processes. 

  • Manage sales tools and software that enhance sales productivity- this  includes evaluating new technologies, onboarding these tools, and training the team on their use

  • Support overall sales strategy through the development of annual sales targets, quotas, and territory planning

  • Coordinate sales meeting agendas and follow-ups including meeting minutes and action items

  • Collaborate with marketing on annual Sales and Services Kick Off meeting - this includes and is not limited to, researching location, hotel coordination, agenda and content creation

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, and enablement

  • Has a growth mindset and thrives in a culture of coaching and feedback that encourages self reflection and personal development 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple relationships and projects while setting priorities and remaining organized 

  • Strong business acumen, verbal and written communication skills, and a data driven approach to solving complex issues

  • Proactive, confident and energetic attitude with the desire to be a key player on a high-performing, fun-loving team

  • A strategic mindset helps in developing long-term plans and initiatives that align with the company's goals. This includes the ability to foresee market shifts and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and analytics software is necessary. Familiarity with other digital tools that aid in sales operations is also beneficial.
