TeachTown, the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments is seeking a growth minded individual to lead TeachTown's go-to-market strategy and accelerate value creation. As the Director of Product Management and Product Marketing, you will partner with our Product, Marketing and Sales teams to create messaging for our products and ultimately generate customer insights that inform TeachTown's product strategy. You will form a deep understanding of our customers through research and data and partner with the team to decrease time to value for our products.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and vision, aligning the product roadmap and product goals with the Company’s overall goals, market trends, and customer needs

Communicate Value – internally and externally, be the voice of products in industry and customer conversations by creating a product messaging and value framework

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies including launch strategy, positioning, messaging and pricing

Create buyer frameworks including a deep understanding of our target customers and buyers as the established expert for our markets

Document the business drivers for the special education market – profitability, pricing, services mix, sales channels, etc.

Groom the portfolio - analyze product performance and market needs to make product lifecycle recommendations
Requirements:

15+ years of experience in product management and/or marketing
-
5+ years of experience leading product management/marketing teams
-
5 years of experience with pricing, packaging and launching offerings for software and curriculum (content)

5 years of experience working with special education, ABA and/or IDD preferred

Demonstrated results in go-to-market strategy creation and execution

Exceptional writing and articulation skills for clear, concise product messaging

Can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross functional teams

Strong written and verbal communication, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective meetings; comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization
