TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our Technology team. Reporting to the Director of Technology, this role will serve as the primary system administrator for our Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, so they can understand both our current setup and our business objectives and quickly identify areas of improvement. They should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules

Plan and execute all Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports

Sandbox environment management

Collaborate cross functionally to identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience

Identify unused or underutilized platform features

Create and implement a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with key internal stakeholders

Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders

Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed

Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer

Create, design, and implement new user and ongoing user training

Create and design user friendly technical documentation for internal team members - this includes and is not limited to: creating internal documentation flow charts for how Salesforce is set up and how-to guides for employees

Ensure all with integrated applications (e.g., DocuSign, Calendly, Gong, Google Workspace) are working correctly
Basic Requirements:

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Certified Salesforce System Administrator

At least 3+ years of experience managing and implementing initiatives across cross functional teams like Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Technology

Demonstrated success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce platform for quoting, invoicing, renewals, contact management and case management

Strong data management abilities and background with data management tools (data loader and import wizards)

Strong organization, communication, and motivational skills
