IT INTERNSHIP for Medical SPA / Medical Clinic

 SPRING 2025  TRUE LIFE Aesthetics (February 1st, 2025 - May 2nd, 2025) (Spend your Spring Internship in a fun Medical SPA setting with other interns!!!) 

 

The Summit Aesthetics Information Technology Internship is a spring term 2024, paid internship for undergraduate junior and senior students who provide technical support to various Staff Members within Summit Aesthetics specifically using our technology and supporting our IT software and systems.

Interns are provided with the opportunity to complete significant and challenging IT work that allows them to gain real-world experience at Summit Aesthetics, a busy and high-tech medical spa.

The IT internship is available from January 8th - April 24th and is primarily based out of Scottsdale Arizona. No hosing is provided and interns must have their own housing and living expenses paid for to apply.

Interns will gain valuable experience and participate in networking opportunities including:

  • Performing real IT work with an assigned mentor or manager
  • Developing a community outreach project - EVENT known to the clinic as "night out" event
  • Attending social events with clinical team members and other interns 

IT Team Descriptions

Interns will have the opportunity to work one or more of the following projects

  • Applications Training and Clinical Informatics Project: This team based project creates training content for current and new employees, including tip sheets, blogs, training videos, and Webex classes.
  • Business and Artificial Intelligence Project: This team based proj helps clinical leaders and teams work to implement artificial learning-like methods to the work they are performing.
  • Aesthetic(s) Imaging Team: This team manages diagnostic images, such as VISIA, and helps share them with various social media, and clinical team members.
  • Enterprise Analytics Project: This team based project mines data created by application teams to find trends, patterns, and value to help operational leaders make data-driven decisions like KPI
  • Enterprise Resource Planning Project: This team-based project works with the organization’s When I Work and Mindbody CRM software application, which is used by finance, human resources, and clinical team members
  • Client System Management Project: This team-based project is responsible for these enterprise functions: CRM (Mind Body), WEAVE, TOUCH MD
  • Inpatient Clinical Applications Project: This team-based project focuses on improving medical aesthetics technician, nurse, and ancillary workflow and efficient access to patient information within the electronic medical record.
  • Network Infrastructure Project: This team-based project supports the entire Summit Aesthetics network, including every clinic, and facility technology, by installing routers, switches, access points, servers, racks, and more.
