  • Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

  • Employment Type: Full-time (Independent Contractor)

  • Work Hours: 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday with availability to overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST) until 12 PM MST

Job Summary

As a Salesforce Administrator you will assist with the maintenance and administration of our Salesforce org as well as gathering business requirements for system changes. Salesforce is at the core of our business, therefore the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for assisting with user management including support tickets, training and maintaining solutions with efficiency as a priority.

As a member of the Revenue Operations team you will take on a supporting role of interacting with our internal stakeholders from various departments to continuously enhance our Salesforce org. You will be responsible for testing, deploying and documenting all Salesforce changes that you build.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the maintenance, configuration and ongoing development of BatchData’’s Salesforce org

    • Configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record pages, record types, validation rules

    • User and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, org-wide defaults, sharing rules

    • Provide regular end user training and monitor user adoption

    • Maintain and improve data integrity by regularly monitoring and resolving data inaccuracies within the system

  • Assist in resolving internal support issues

  • Assist in data import, export, and updates using Data Loader

  • Support for integrated applications: 

    • Customer.io

    • Stripe Integration

    • Intercom

    • Census /Fivetran

    • Build documentation and support newly launched applications

  • Provide training to Sales and Marketing teams on newly launched applications, processes, etc

  • Support in building reports and dashboards for Sales and Marketing leadership

  • Support in management of Deal Desk operations, including:

    • Maintaining documentation for deal closing process

    • Maintaining and enhancing deal desk processes

    • Closing deals and creating contracts


Skills and Qualifications

  • Salesforce product knowledge with 2-4 years of hands-on administration experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201)

  • Experience using Data Loader and Workbench

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel (vlookups, basic formulas)

  • Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions

  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)

  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes

  • Excellent relationship-building skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Available and responsive to questions

  • Desirable:

    • Experience using sales acceleration tools such as Salesloft

    • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development 

    • Active in the Salesforce community

    • Additional Salesforce certifications

      • Advanced Administrator (ADM-211)

      • Platform App Builder (DEV-402)
