We are seeking a sharp, organized, and commercially minded Inside Sales & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team; someone who thrives at the intersection of customer-facing sales support and operational supply chain execution.

Role Summary

This is a dual functional role that supports both our inside sales and supply chain operations. On the commercial side, you will manage leads, prepare and follow up on quotes, enter orders, and keep our CRM and customer accounts running smoothly. On the supply chain side, you will handle purchasing, material planning, vendor coordination, and ERP data management to keep projects on schedule and costs in check. Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales Support

  • Manage and track incoming leads through the sales pipeline; ensure timely follow-up on all open opportunities
  • Prepare competitive quotations; follow up with customers to move proposals to close
  • Process and enter sales orders accurately; coordinate handoff to operations for execution
  • Maintain and administer CRM system; keep customer contacts, activities, and pipeline data current
  • Track open sales orders from entry through delivery; proactively communicate status updates to customers
  • Provide account support to customers and serve as a responsive point of contact between the customer and internal teams
  • Support outside sales representatives with quotes, documentation, and customer communications

Supply Chain & Purchasing

  • Execute purchasing for materials, components, and subcontracted services; issue and manage purchase orders
  • Plan material requirements based on open orders and production schedules; align purchasing with project timelines
  • Manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with on-time project execution
  • Coordinate project-specific material procurement; ensure right materials arrive at the right time
  • Expedite critical materials and resolve vendor delivery issues to prevent project delays
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor data in ERP; ensure records are current and complete
  • Identify and develop strategic supplier relationships; evaluate vendor performance and drive cost savings

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in inside sales support, estimating, purchasing, or supply chain in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple open quotes, purchase orders, and customer requests simultaneously
  • Semiconductor experience desirable
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or MRP systems; CRM proficiency a strong plus
  • Strong communicator comfortable working directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Detail oriented, self-directed, and proactive in following up and closing open items
  • Familiarity with specialty plastics, industrial piping, electrical/controls components, or process equipment is a plus
