Position Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented, certified Pharmacy Technicians with hands-on sterile compounding experience and a thorough understanding of USP <797> guidelines. This role requires a high level of accuracy, compliance, and attention to aseptic technique in the preparation of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs).
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare compounded sterile products (CSPs) following USP <797> and company protocols.

Maintain cleanroom environment standards including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning logs.

Operate within ISO classified environments using aseptic techniques.

Accurately label, document, and package medications for distribution.

Assist pharmacists in the review and verification of orders.

Monitor inventory of sterile compounding supplies and medications; assist with ordering and stocking.

Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Comply with all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices.

Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required.

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.

Minimum 1–2 years of sterile compounding experience.

Proficient understanding of USP <797> standards.

Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:

Experience with USP <800> (hazardous compounding) is a plus.

Familiarity with pharmacy compounding software and batch documentation systems.
Work Environment:

Work is conducted in cleanroom and laboratory settings with extended periods in gowning and PPE.

Standing, lifting, and repetitive movements are required.
