Job Description 

Omlie is looking for experienced management consultants in the Greater Philadelphia area [and beyond].   

At Omlie our management consultants are passionate leaders who deliver consistently exceptional client experiences with authenticity, collaboration, and trust.   Consulting team members should expect their primary focus to be on project delivery – understanding our client’s needs and partnering to design, build, and deploy custom solutions.  We look for team members who actively seek out information and share their perspectives with curiosity and vulnerability.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Leverages business development & Omlie client experience methodology to identify opportunities and sell projects, both for themselves and others.   

  • Leads large and important workstreams for a large-scale program, multiple smaller projects, or a small client account (may be responsible for an account with a total of less than $1-2M in revenue annually).  

  • Supports annual strategic planning process for their account(s) in partnership with the account lead and / or Head of Client Experience. Manages one or more Omlie team members, including day-to-day management, coaching, and development.    

  • Ability to manage a cross-functional set of timelines and milestones and resources, proactively identifying issues and risks and working to remediate quickly.   

  • Listens to client needs and collaborates to recommend solutions, influence decisions, and document next steps to further project initiatives. Tailors messaging to audience types seamlessly.   

  • Builds credibility as a strategic advisor, pulled in to lead mid-level clients with strategic planning, team building, and high-visibility projects and workshops.   

  • Drives the sales process by building a network of advocates, proactively identifying opportunities, and working to sell work for yourself and others.    

  • Actively seeks out information, cultivates intuition, and shares perspectives with curiosity and vulnerability. 

  • Builds trust and influence through strong communication and effective presentation skills.  

  • Maintains and activates professional networks for business development and recruiting purposes. 

  • Understands the Omlie services and industries and actively seeks to learn about current events and their impacts on our people, clients, and the world.      

  • Cultivates and embodies a healthy team culture that aligns with Omlie values and principles and takes on internal projects as a lead or contributor to enhance our team and culture.   

  • Eagerly prepares for, delivers, and participates in coaching and career development scenarios for oneself and others.  

  • Beginning to emerge as a subject-matter-expert and thought partner externally within the health, wellness, and / or cannabis industries.   

 

 Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in management consulting or applicable industry 

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skills  

  • Experience working with and/or leading teams, clients and vendors using your exceptional team building, mentoring, people development and management skills 

  • Experience working on and/or owning a defined portion of a consulting project, and demonstrated ability to manage issues and risks, with an understanding of appropriate and timely escalation.

  • In-depth understanding of Project Management methodology, Microsoft Office, and other collaborative toolsets.
