Position Overview 

As the Sales Director, you will be a strategic leader with extensive expertise in developing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. By focusing on relationship-driven growth rather than traditional sales, you will help foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture rooted in trust and mutual success. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, success in this role requires a growth mindset, strategic vision, and proven ability to build out and execute a robust and effective sales process.  
 
This is a hybrid position with one day per week on site in our Conshohocken, PA office.   

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define, shape, and execute the strategic approach to new client acquisition, driving initiatives that position Omlie as a trusted, long-term partner. 
  • Conduct research initiatives on potential high-value clients across various industries to build a strong external sales pipeline.  
  • Craft tailored proposals that align with clients' unique needs, enhancing our competitive edge in securing new business. 
  • Manage Omlie’s profile in sourcing systems such as supplier.io and lead efforts related to RFPs and RFIs for new business. 
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of collateral to ensure consistency and excellence in the selling process. 
  • Develop and manage pricing models and contractual agreements, ensuring alignment with Omlie strategic objectives and client expectations. 
  • Identify and / or attend conferences and other networking events to bolster Omlie’s brand recognition and build new relationships. 
  • Ensure a smooth and effective transition from opportunity lead to project lead, setting the stage for successful project execution. 
  • Coordinate the delivery of personalized client communications, enhancing relationship-building from the outset. 
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to inform and execute the long-term vision for organizational growth. 
  • Develop and standardize metrics that provide actionable insights into the effectiveness of our sales process, project performance, and business outcomes. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10+ years of proven success in selling services, ideally in a management consulting organization.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and inspire.
  • A true “hunter” mindset with a relentless focus on acquiring new business from external sources.
  • Possess an existing client base or strong industry connections that can translate into sales for Omlie’s services.
  • Demonstrated humility and a low ego leadership style, with the confidence to lead through influence.
