Job description 

At Omlie our management consultants are passionate leaders who deliver consistently exceptional client experiences with authenticity, collaboration, and trust. Consulting team members should expect their primary focus to be on project delivery: understanding our client’s needs and partnering to design, build, and deploy custom solutions. Omlie is looking for a Director who can independently lead workstreams, projects, client relationships, and teams with limited oversight. This person brings structured thinking, strong delivery judgment, executive-ready communication, team leadership, the ability to identify where Omlie can create additional value and translate those opportunities into action.

What you’ll do 

  • Lead day-to-day activities for large-scale programs, projects, or multiple workstreams, balancing scope, pace, quality, team capacity, risks, and client outcomes. 
  • Independently structure ambiguous client problems, identify the data and information needed, synthesize what you learn, explain tradeoffs, and guide teams toward actionable recommendations. 
  • Connect recommendations and deliverables to client strategy, operating realities, governance, roles, decision pathways, and practical ways of working. 
  • Manage stakeholders by creating engagement plans, anticipating reactions, tailoring messages, navigating resistance, and helping them make informed decisions. 
  • Design integrated change and enablement approaches that connect behavior change, stakeholder needs, communication, training, readiness, reinforcement, and feedback loops. 
  • Develop executive-ready storylines, simplify complex work, lead working sessions that generate input and alignment, and turn discussions into decisions and actions. 
  • Use AI fluently and responsibly to improve consulting delivery, identify high-value AI-enabled use cases, design efficient workflows, validate outputs, and balance speed, quality, client context, and risk. 
  • Develop trusted client relationships, identify opportunities for Omlie to add value, and contribute to scoping, proposals, and partnership conversations. 
  • Lead and coach Omlie team members by creating clear working rhythms, delegating effectively, giving, receiving, and acting on feedback, addressing team needs early, and supporting development. 
  • Support strategic planning, team building, high-visibility client work, and internal initiatives that strengthen Omlie’s services, growth, and ways of working. 

 

What you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in management consulting or a relevant industry role. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading workstreams or projects with responsibility for client outcomes, delivery quality, risks, issues, and team coordination. 
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize information, shape recommendations, and guide clients toward practical decisions. 
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience coaching team members, managing client relationships, and influencing stakeholders across different levels of an organization. 
  • Strong project management capability and fluency with Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and AI-enabled consulting workflows.
