Be the face of something exceptional. Take it statewide.

πŸ“  Location: Lubbock, TX (statewide travel required)     |     πŸ“…  Type: Full-Time     |     ✈  Travel: Frequent, including weekends

ABOUT THE ROLE

Llano Estacado Winey is the largest winery in the State of Texas and on the cusp of something big. With an exciting new product ready to meet consumers across the state, we're looking for a driven, outgoing marketing professional to bring it to life at the ground level. As our Field Marketing Coordinator, you will own the on-premises and event sampling experience from end to end for this productβ€” sourcing opportunities, building partnerships, activating events, and capturing the moments that fuel our social media presence.

This is a role for someone who thrives on being in the room where it happens β€” whether that's a bustling bar in Austin on a Friday night, a weekend wine festival in the Hill Country, or a tasting pop-up in a Dallas hotel lobby. You'll be the brand ambassador in the truest sense: equal parts strategist, relationship-builder, and storyteller.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Event Development & Opportunity Sourcing

  • Research and identify bars, restaurants, festivals, corporate events, and experiential venues across Texas that align with our brand profile and target consumer.
  • Cold-pitch and negotiate sampling partnerships and event placements with bar managers, event coordinators, venue owners, and hospitality groups.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of upcoming activation opportunities across the state.
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on audience fit, volume potential, and brand visibility.

Event Execution & Brand Experience

  • Plan, coordinate, and personally manage on-site sampling activations from setup to breakdown.
  • Serve as the primary brand representative at each event β€” educating consumers, driving trial, and delivering a memorable brand experience.
  • Coordinate staffing support for larger events, including briefing and managing brand ambassadors.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation across all activations, including materials, giveaways, signage, and product handling.

Third-Party & Distributor Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Llano sales team and distributor reps, venue partners, and event promoters across Texas markets.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to align sampling efforts with sales initiatives and market priorities.
  • Identify and onboard reliable local activation partners and promotional staff vendors in key markets.

Content Capture & Social Media Support

  • Capture high-quality photos and video content at each event for use across our social media channels.
  • Develop a consistent cadence of engaging field content β€” candid moments, product pours, consumer reactions, and behind-the-scenes activation footage.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with broader campaign calendars.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries with proper tagging, location data, and event attribution.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report on key activation metrics including sampling volumes, consumer interactions, leads, and event ROI.
  • Maintain accurate event logs and partnership records.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and consumer feedback to the broader marketing and product teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, brand activation, or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently source, pitch, and secure event or sampling partnerships.
  • Proven track record managing live events or consumer activations from concept through execution.
  • Strong comfort with photography and short-form video capture (smartphone proficiency at minimum; DSLR/mirrorless experience a plus).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills β€” you can walk into any bar, festival, or corporate event and own the conversation.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple markets and events simultaneously.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle; willingness to travel extensively across the state, including most weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the wine, spirits, or beverage industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Existing relationships with bars, venues, or event organizers in major Texas markets (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Lubbock, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Texas TABC regulations and responsible alcohol sampling compliance.
  • Experience working with distributors or in a three-tier beverage alcohol structure.
  • Proficiency with basic photo/video editing tools (Adobe Lightroom, CapCut, InShot, or similar).
  • Experience using a CRM, project management tool, or marketing platform for tracking and reporting.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Performance incentives tied to activation volume and market growth.
  • Mileage reimbursement and full coverage of all travel and event-related expenses.
  • Autonomy to build and own a statewide event sampling program from the ground up.
  • The opportunity to grow alongside a winery at a pivotal moment in its brand story.
  • A collaborative, passionate team that takes the work seriously β€” and the wine even more so.

If you're energized by the idea of putting a great Texas wine in the hands of new fans across the state β€” and building the program that makes it happen β€” we'd love to hear from you.
