We’ve created a secure digital platform to expand education behind bars, reduce recidivism and to support the vocational, rehabilitation and communication needs of the 2.2 million people in jails and prisons. Users have access to thousands of hours of self-guided learning materials. Upon release, our learners have the option to continue their progress on the outside. Edovo offers courses in subjects ranging from basic literacy and GED to career exploration and cognitive behavioral therapy. The Account Manager at Edovo is responsible for owning Edovo’s relationship with our customers by ensuring a positive experience and shared knowledge of customers needs.  This role will serve on the Operations team and will be responsible for customer communications, contract and renewal management, support escalations, and proactive customer engagement opportunities. The Account Manager at Edovo will be responsible for a combination of both large and small accounts.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with staff at the jails and prisons that Edovo serves

  • Serve as the customers advocate to the internal Edovo functions to ensure customer needs are met and their voices heard, and identify opportunities of delight or value that we can provide

  • Own and report on all key customer details as it relates to their contract, renewal terms, and service commitments

  • Train and equip new or prospective Edovo customers on Edovo’s solutions through training sessions, support articles and direct outreach

  • Measure and manage to Edovo-defined and customer-defined success metrics to ensure product adoption, service satisfaction, willingness to renew, and other key account management activities

  • Prepare and present synthesized reports and presentations on customer progress, satisfaction, and  adoption for the customers and internal stakeholders with a focus on product and service needs

  • Other needs and responsibilities as necessary as they relate to equipping, caring for and driving adoption at our customers


  • A passion for Edovo’s mission and education in general, and excited to engage with and learn from the incarcerated individuals we serve, the friends & family of the incarcerated, and jail staff

  • Enjoys building relationships and trust with all customers; internal and external

  • High energy, results oriented & a positive attitude with the ability to work independently

  • Enjoys traveling and being onsite with customers within a correctional setting

  • Able to effectively plan and execute account management efforts

  • Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills

  • Able to execute proactive customer care strategies

  • Able to thrive at a small company that is dynamic and fast paced

  • A minimum of 2 years professional experience in a people-facing role
