WHAT WILL YOU DO


The Mobile Product Manager is responsible for designing and executing the management strategy for Edovo's tablet hardware and mobile applications. In this highly technical role you will be the expert on all facets of Edovo's mobile device platform and the tools and processes used to manage and support the mobile devices. 


  • Provide management and support of Edovo’s tablets in the field and in inventory

  • Define mobile device management (MDM) strategy, including budgets, lifecycle planning, and OTA updates

  • Define tablet hardware strategy, including budgets, device upgrades, maintenance and support

  • Develop the roadmap for the future of Edovo managed devices

  • Build and execute Edovo’s Android application strategy to support all devices available to incarcerated users, including supporting and testing across various partner devices

  • Define and execute strategy  to support 3rd party applications that are available on Edovo’s tablets

  • Be the primary point of contact for third party service providers involved in the management of Edovo’s mobile devices


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • A passion for Edovo’s mission and education in general, and excited to engage with and learn from the incarcerated individuals we serve, the friends & family of the incarcerated, and jail staff

  • Enthusiastic, capable, and proactive hands-on problem solver

  • Focused, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working with software on the Android platform

  • Experience working with mobile device management (MDM) software to remotely manage devices and  administer applications

  • High attention to detail

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to balance complex and evolving business needs with actionable solutions

  • At least two years experience as a product manager, business analyst, or similar role at a technology-based company
