Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The Product Manager, Edovo Connect is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life-cycle for Edovo’s Messenger and Mail communication services. This includes: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure revenue, impact, and client goals are met. The Product Manager’s role also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy, goals, and mission.

Product Operations

  • Formulate, track, and monitor KPIs for product vertical to ensure product effectiveness, performance, and impact.

  • Triage and manage product issues or site outages and issues if they occur

  • Work collaboratively with Training and Customer Support to design solutions and manage the training process for users.

  • Develop and maintain repeatable, documented processes, ensuring a seamless implementation process for our customers and internal users, both technical and operational.

  • Coordinate and develop 3rd party integrations, negotiate and manage vendor/service contracts in support of facility implementation/launch support

Product Planning

  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholder feedback, developing ROI/ business cases, and working with business owners, and development to execute on the vision.

  • Conduct or coordinate user research, prototyping, and user testing as needed.

  • Grooming backlog, defining epics with the broader Product team, phasing, prioritization, and producing business requirements, wireframes, workflows, for all features in an agile development process.

  • Develop launch/go to market plans for major new product features to ensure organization is aligned, prepared to execute,  and iterate as needed.

Product Strategy

  • Monitors industry trends and best practices, including competitive offerings, to inform product strategy and roadmap.

  • Perform due diligence and necessary analysis to vet new product/feature ideas through market research and competitive analysis.

  • Define monetization strategies, price, positioning, and business cases related to product vertical.

  • Create and track financial plan for new roadmap items or features, working closely with other product managers, business owners, and development team members.  

  • Assists with full P&L responsibility, which includes product growth, profitability, impact metrics, and product life-cycle management.

Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of product management disciplines

  • Expertise in human-centered design, software development, or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work within a self-directed culture and navigate ambiguity

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders and  influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in product management, business analysis, or equivalent position

  • Experience designing and/or implementing solutions in resource-constrained environments

  • Experience crafting a project vision, execution strategy, and managing stakeholder relationships

  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products

Travel Requirements:

The amount of travel required for this position may vary with time, but it is anticipated that it will involve up to 15 - 25% travel.
