Your job will consist of:

  • Leading the software development team to high-quality results.

  • Helping to prioritize development tasks in a manner that optimizes for time to completion and customer satisfaction.

  • Regularly running individual and team meetings to improve visibility and ensure an effective development process.

  • Ensuring project timelines are met while Identifying obstacles and needed resources. 

  • Working with the development and customer-facing teams to address technical issues and improve the product

  • Providing coaching and mentoring to team members.

  • Communicating with and advising senior management on technical issues.


Required skills:

  • 2+ years development team leadership experience

  • 4+ years software development experience

  • Jira cloud expert

  • Project management or scrum master experience

  • Understanding of scrum/agile methodologies 

  • Ability to cross-train and mentor team members.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading projects from conception through completion.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Versatility and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience.


Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with NodeJS, Typescript, Cordova and/or .NET

  • Ability to take business use cases and translate them into technical requirements documents that can be tasked out or developed on.

  • Hiring experience

  • SaaS experience

  • Positive attitude and demeanor
