Position Summary
In this role, you'll spend approximately 10% of your time onsite, with the remaining 90% dedicated to providing remote support, strategic planning, budgeting, and client oversight from our home office. Our headquarters is in Charleston, SC, with additional offices in South Florida, Upstate South Carolina, and Western Virginia.
We typically work around 45 hours per week, but with our state-of-the-art monitoring tools, standardization, automation, and streamlined processes, we strive to eliminate the chaos and maintain a balanced work environment. While our days are far from relaxing, filled with PlayStation or Netflix breaks, they are incredibly rewarding. We are dedicated to solving our clients' problems efficiently and moving on to the next challenge.

- Exceptional Client Communication & Troubleshooting: Master the art of client interaction and problem-solving with finesse.

- Security & Business Continuity Expertise: Understand and implement real-world security and business continuity solutions based on client requirements.
Qualifications and Technical Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft network and server technologies.
- Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office 365.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure products
- Networking Skills: Basic knowledge of switching, routing, VPN, VLAN, and wireless configurations (Cisco Meraki experience is a plus).
- Data Protection: Experience setting up and managing data protection (backup) software.
- Case Management: Proficiency with case management software for documenting ticket time and notes.
- Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or in an IT leadership role is advantageous.
- Security Management: Ability to configure and manage enterprise-wide security products, including Antivirus, Antispyware, Email Security, Data Loss Prevention, Content Filtering, encryption, and intrusion detection technologies.
- TCP/IP Skills: Strong skills in TCP/IP, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration.
- Education: Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Certifications: Desired certifications include Network+, Security+, Project+, MCSA, MCSE or Microsoft equivalent, and CCNA.
