Position Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting new client accounts and identifying potential clients. Through daily communications including cold calls, emails, and online outreach, this position is expected to foster new account relationships to grow the revenues for the company. The successful candidate must be energetic, passionate and driven to succeed in selling a full solution, not just a product. The successful candidate must update customer\prospect documentation real-time keep notes up to date.
Position Requirements
- At least 2-3 Years of industry work experience
- College education preferred
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Maintain superior client relations
- Process-driven and detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- Hard working, self-motivated and results oriented
- Ability to work on site in our office for the first 6 months before working hybrid
- Aptitude for consultative sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient of Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM software
- Basic Understanding of value propositions in Managed Services and Managed Security Services.
Position Responsibilities
- Prospecting for New Accounts by cold calling and online outreach (emails, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Meet or exceed monthly quota
- Track activity daily in a CRM tool
- Create appointments for our outside salespeople, called Business Development Managers
- Complete basic product and services training to understand what we offer our clients.
KPI’s
- 80-100+ calls a day excluding no answers
- 5-7 Meaningful conversations a day
- 30+ chats a day
- Metrics are averaged over the week
