Pay Range: $64,064 – $70,000

Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in managing the company’s receivables process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, payment posting, and account reconciliation. This position will collaborate closely with our sales, operations, and credit teams to maintain strong relationships with customers and support healthy cash flow for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate, review, and send accurate invoices in line with finance agreements and company policies.
  • Assist with cash application to ensure accurate recording in the Company’s accounting software.
  • Record and apply customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate posting to accounts.
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and escalate delinquent accounts as needed.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances, resolve unapplied payments, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or contract-related issues affecting collections.
  • Support month-end close, reporting, and audit activities.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase AR accuracy and efficiency.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
  • Personal integrity when working with personal and sensitive financial information
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
