Slingshot employs students from a variety of disciplines, including technical and engineering fields. During these internships, a major project will be assigned and/or many discrete opportunities will be available. For the most part, we will just be hustling hard! In many cases, internships serve as a potential stepping stone to full time employment.

Slingshot is currently looking to fill an intern position to support our Chief Product Officer in the Los Angeles facility. You will assist with new and existing business development actions including but not limited to:

Your Responsibilities

• Work with the CPO to develop and implement projects

• Assist CPO with calendar management, followups, and getting stuff done

• Collaborate with other interns and team members to align priorities

• Liaise with partnerships, leads and account managers to grow the team

• Assist in business plans/models for new services

• Research to assist in determining best prospects for new clients

• Research to discover market gaps and opportunities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating new client prospects

• Assist in creating new business development strategies

• Write letters, emails, marketing content, and technical proposals

• Assist with customer relationship management

• Assist with processing mail, bookkeeping, data entry and office supplies requests

• Assist with archiving, storage management, and in-house event planning

• Engage with our user base on twitter, facebook and other social media platforms

Job Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise):

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent analytical capabilities

Skilled at Technical Writing

Experience in UX design or graphic design

Coding Skill-set

Adobe

Your commitment:

• 20-40+ hours per week. I'm looking for someone who can work on site part-time or full time in our El Segundo office beginning asap and rolling into a summer internship
