POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Quality Specialist coordinates and supports the accreditation process to drive consistent, high-quality reviews that measure program performance and fidelity. The role collaborates across departments and with implementing partner organizations to strengthen quality, accuracy, and integrity in program delivery. It facilitates accreditation logistics, organizes and synthesizes documentation, and provides guidance and technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders. The position also contributes to continuous improvement efforts that advance network-wide excellence in program implementation and outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
40% | Coordinate Accreditation Process
- Manage the logistics and scheduling for accreditation reviews from start to finish.
- Set and communicate timelines, deliverables, and expectations with internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely across teams and provide ongoing support during reviews.
- Review accreditation reports for accuracy and consistency before submission.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of all accreditation activities.
40% | Provide Technical Assistance Related to Accreditation
- Serve as the primary contact for accreditation-related inquiries and issue resolution.
- Track and monitor inquiries or support requests; identify and report on trends.
- Maintain and update reference materials, guides, and instructional resources to support compliance with accreditation standards.
- Provide targeted support to implementing partners organizations to meet quality or fidelity expectations.
10% | Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner cross-functionally to improve accreditation and fidelity monitoring processes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, documentation updates, and reporting efficiencies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that drive performance excellence.
10% | Maintain Documentation
- Maintain and update accreditation guides, templates, and training materials current.
- Create new instructional resources, as needed.
- Maintain historical accreditation records for implementing partner organizations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 4 years coordinating quality improvement, fidelity, or accreditation activities.
- Minimum 4 years providing technical assistance and partner or client support.
- Minimum 3 years managing complex, multi-dimensional projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Experience in early childhood home visiting or mental health preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports to the Manager, Data & Quality and does not have any direct reports.
