POSITION OVERVIEW

The Network Manager is responsible for delivering an excellent customer service experience to organizations implementing Child First and Nurse-Family Partnership in the Changent network. The Network Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of standard implementing partner organizations, spanning from the identification and implementation phase through formal adoption and ongoing support. This position involves identifying and vetting prospective implementing partner organizations, understanding the public funding landscape and service array, and supporting the start-up of Child First and Nurse-Family Partnership programs.

 

In close collaboration with other departments, this position is responsible for tracking site health and developing sustainability strategies for assigned portfolio accounts. The Network Manager will apply a health equity lens and an equity-centered approach to further mission-driven programmatic growth goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

40% | Project Management and Cross-Team Collaboration
Execute day-to-day project management for network health monitoring and partner support. Engage in project management to track and address relevant information and communications related to network health, including program performance, model integrity, funding timelines, and compliance.

 

  • Develop individualized response plans to address routine site health concerns alongside colleagues from the Policy & Government Affairs team, and the Child First and NFP clinical teams. Document and track progress of support plans, escalating complex concerns to the Senior Network Manager.
  • Engage in site-level response efforts for routine issues. This may involve interaction with site leadership, state agencies, funders, and regulatory monitors.
  • Manage internal communication and documentation related to opportunities, challenges, expansions, decreases, and closures within the assigned portfolio. Work with the Legal department to execute appropriate contracts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on standard implementation and support activities.

 

 

30% | Program Implementation, Planning & Support

Lead routine implementations and provide ongoing support for standard partner organizations. Cultivate leads, assess feasibility, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

  • Manage standard implementation processes from assessment through launch for the assigned portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive readiness assessments for standard implementing partners to evaluate organizational capacity and readiness for program implementation, ensuring alignment with quality and equity standards.
  • Participate in stakeholder identification and landscaping efforts to promote understanding of needs in new communities.
  • Provide post-implementation support for routine issues and questions, in close collaboration with clinical and other colleagues. This may involve interaction with site leadership, state agencies, funders, and regulatory monitors.
  • Support growth opportunities through intentional relationship development with implementing partner organization leaders, state partners, funders, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead expansion efforts in existing regions within the assigned portfolio, working cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Provide support for partners experiencing accelerated growth and identify barriers to expansion, proposing solutions to the Senior Network Manager.

 

20% | Customer Service & External Engagement

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned implementing partner organizations, providing routine customer service and standard relationship management. Engage in business development to expand the Nurse-Family Partnership & Child First networks.

 

  • Create and track relationships with new and potential implementing partner organizations.
  • Triage inquiries, as appropriate, to internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Policy & Government Affairs.
  • Apply strategic, big picture thinking to manage appropriate responses for routine issues, track communication, responses, and outcomes.
  • Escalate complex matters to the Senior Network Manager, as appropriate.

 

10% | Administrative Support

Ensure work is well-documented to enhance customer experience and internal efficiencies.

 

  • Utilize Salesforce and other platforms to document and track internal and external communications and outcomes.
  • Track key performance indicators for the assigned portfolio and provide regular reports on partner performance and implementation progress.
  • Contribute to pipeline and status reports on a regular basis.
  • Ensure partners have access to data systems and support, reporting any access issues to the Senior Network Manager.
  • Participate in workgroups and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or system development, business development, customer relations, or capacity building required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in people or program management required.
  • Familiarity with public funding sources or regulatory requirements for home visiting, maternal, or mental health programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships.
  • Competency in developing and improving business processes.
  • Experience working in a matrix structure or a changing organization is desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Network Management and has no direct reports.
