Title: Clinical Data Analyst
Location: Remote
Conformal Medical is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst (CDA) who will be responsible for delivery of high-quality clinical data supporting key project milestones. This role develops dashboards and reports, identifies trends, and communicates insights to cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with visualization tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. This role will report directly into the Sr. Director of Clinical.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the analysis of clinical data to derive meaningful insights, identify trends and support business needs
- Manage data generation for clinical study reports and publications
- Drive development and management of dashboards/analytics (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Provide hands on programming support, including development of basic clinical data listings, data checks, and ad hoc analyses; serve as backup support for statistical programmers
- Pull data from databases, spreadsheets, APIs, or reports and prepare for analysis
- Create, augment, or modify current clinical data displays to accommodate study-specific needs and requests, including means of tracking data quality, completeness and trends
- Build and maintain data pipelines to automate data outputs
- Develop therapeutic area landscape and benchmark analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop dashboards and KPI outputs
- Validate and monitor data quality
Key Requirements
- At least 8 years in data analytics experience in clinical research
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, Data Analytics or equivalent preferred
- Cardiovascular experience preferred
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with EDCs (i.e. Medidata Rave, iMedNet)
- Knowledge of clinical data standards (i.e. FDA, HIPAA, ISO, MDR) and experience supporting regulatory submissions strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and monitor projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
