Primary Responsibilities and Attitude
The role of Director, Client Services will be an integral part of our team. On a day-to-day basis, you will be managing all aspects of your client’s service requirements. Our business is continually evolving, and you will help us shape its growth. We’re looking for someone who is known for their work ethic, taking initiative, and considers themselves to be entrepreneurial, innovative, and likes a challenge.
You are responsible for:
- Manage a portfolio of transfer agent clients with a strong focus on responsiveness, client retention and growth by delivering exceptional service
- Manage client requests and inquiries promptly
- Manage higher level or escalated interactions with clients, with a focus on efficient service and timely resolution; escalate to management when appropriate
- Identify new products and services for existing clients, making proper introductions to the subject matter experts or sales team
- Participate in and contribute to weekly department meetings and critically assess the current processes with a focus on finding efficient and innovative solutions
- Partner with the onboarding specialist to onboard clients, with a focus on making the transition process seamless for our clients and learning about client needs
- Timely and correct billing for all services & follow up on aged receivables
- Supports Client Services team during absences and high volumes
- Other duties as required
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 7 years’ financial services experience, preferably in the transfer agent, corporate trust, brokerage, or related industry
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with individuals at all levels of an organization, through both verbal and written communication
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize appropriately based on client needs
- Ability to travel as required to client annual meetings or other meetings as requested
