Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the processing of supplier invoices in the ERP and identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • ​​​​​​Process invoices and credit memos accurately and efficiently throughout the month. 

  • ​Archive processed invoices and associated support according to retention guidelines. 

  • ​Identify and track issues while processing invoices (currency, taxes, PO issues, discrepancies, etc.) 

  • ​Receive and respond to inquiries from suppliers or internal contacts. 

  • ​Act as the first step of escalation within the Accounts Payable process. Contact suppliers, buyers, requestors, and any other parties involved in resolution. 

  • ​Request coding and approval information for NON-PO invoices. 

  • ​Collaborate with team members and serve as a backup. 

  • ​Assist with Month End AP activities  

  • ​Performs other related work as assigned by management.​​ 

 

What You Bring: 

  • ​​​Associate's degree in Finance or Business or relevant experience

  • ​Fluent in English

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.  

  • Relevant experience in common ERP’s is helpful,  JDE is preferred. 

  • ​Data entry proficiency. 

  • ​Ability to identify invoice differences and partner with others to research and resolve. 

  • ​Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors, including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
