Cash Application Analyst

As a Cash Application Analyst, you will be responsible for performing activities related to the receiving of payments (checks, Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), Credit Cards) and application of payments to customer accounts.
What You’ll Do:

Responsible for the daily generation of reports for the team.

Review daily incoming bank statement, for lockbox, credit card, ACH, and wire activity.

Identify and research discrepancies in the miscellaneous “unidentified on account” amounts.

Perform the application of credit card payments.

Responsible for the application of checks, wire transfers payments, identify and correct the differences between the bank reports and the subledger daily, avoiding reconciliation issues at the end of the month.

Resolve payment discrepancies.

Responsible for the application of NON-Account Receivable payments.

Comply with the KPIs, meeting or exceeding the SLAs.

Responsible for the month-end Close activities, reconciliations, and prepare the documentation for the Journals entries.

Maintains documentation to support AR transactions and facilitate the efficient review and audit of books and records. All activities will be performed in compliance with our internal controls policies and procedures.

Collaborate with team members and serve as a backup resource as necessary.

Performs other related work as assigned by management.
What You Bring:

Associate's degree in Finance or Business or relevant experience
-
Fluent in English
-
2 years of relevant working experience
-
Relevant experience in common ERP’s, JDE is preferred

Analytical and organizational skills
-
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues, and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems

Have general knowledge of cash application. Have experience with customer interactions.

Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel
