Inventory Control Technician I

As an Inventory Control Technician, you will be responsible for accurately picking, staging, and boxing a variety of inventory orders, as well as properly dispositioning items to stock.

 

What You’ll Do: 

This role performs a variety of warehouse operations to support accurate movement, documentation, and control of inventory.

  • Always Adhere to Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Accurately picks and stages various types of work orders.

  • Moves Inventory to designated, pickable stock locations.

  • Performs basic functions in our ERP system, including:

    • Conducting summary availability searches

    • Processing inventory transfers

  • Participating in periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

  • Utilizes ComplianceWire, MasterControl, and Windchill for required training and documentation activities.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

 

What You Bring: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of company products and processes.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • A self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating successfully within a team environment.

  • Ability to read, write, and follow detailed work instructions and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
    conclusions

  • Basic math proficiency and the ability to perform accurate calculations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

 

     Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • May be required to work in a cleanroom environment while following applicable gowning and safety procedures.

  • Work is typically performed in a light manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation: 

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors, including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
