Communications Associate (Hybrid)

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Associate to help shape and amplify our brand voice. In this role, you’ll craft compelling content for internal and external audiences, support impactful campaigns and presentations, and collaborate across teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated communicator to grow and make a meaningful impact. This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires weekly in-office presence at our Leesburg, VA headquarters (600 Hope Parkway SE). We are also open to candidates living in Allendale, NJ who are willing to work a hybrid schedule at our Allendale office (2 Pearl Ct, Allendale, NJ 07401).

What You’ll Do:

Content Development & Copywriting

Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for a variety of channels, including marketing materials, internal communications, and customer-facing documents
Create persuasive, benefit-driven messaging that highlights the value of our products and services
Draft and edit a range of content including strategic plans, event invitations, and presentations
Ensure all written materials adhere to brand tone, voice, and style guidelines
Research and synthesize information to support content accuracy and relevance

Marketing Communications Support

Collaborate with team members to create visually engaging and impactful communications
Apply basic design principles and brand templates to support marketing initiatives
Assist in developing presentations for leadership and key stakeholders
Align messaging with business goals and campaign objectives

Internal Communications

Create thoughtful and engaging employee communications to drive alignment and engagement
Support communication planning for internal initiatives and events
Build cross-functional relationships to ensure cohesive messaging and collaboration

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
0+ years of relevant work experience (new grads welcome)
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Creative thinking, adaptability, and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Capable of medium work: able to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs regularly

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $60,000 – $80,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
