About this position:

Global HR Research (GHRR) is looking for an experienced Drug and Occupational Health Leader! Are you among the best in your field and ready to help lead a rapidly expanding company to the next level? GHRR is looking for experienced, business to business sales executives to join and help lead our growing sales team. The Occupational Health Director is responsible for driving the direction of our occupational health department including polices, process and products.

Director Responsibilities and Experience:

·     Solid knowledge of drug testing and occupational health marketplace, processes, industry demands, and best practices

·     Oversees the entire occupational health department and responsible for staffing knowledgeable team members to insure excellence in product delivery

·     Experience with regulated and non-regulated drug and alcohol testing, physical testing

·      Understanding of health-related industry requirements where occupational health monitoring testing are performed

·     Capability to make difficult decisions and be solution driven while thinking strategically at an executive level

·     Process and procedure creation, implementation, monitoring, and process improvement

·     Knowledge of D.O.T. and other regulations as they relate to occupational health products

·     Recognize and escalate to sales any potential business opportunities

·     Identify potential client upsell or whitelist opportunities that my increase department revenue

·     Support Sales initiatives to enhance Occupational Health services and product offerings

·     Act as Subject Matter Expert when needed on client and vendor calls

·     Architect Occupational Health infrastructure in a way that promotes operational success

·     Support Customer Service, SDMs and Implementation departments with operational needs

·     Communication and enforcing corporate Culture to all team members

·     Monitor and maximize efficiencies in all processes both internally and with vendors

·     Initiate and foster healthy vendor and partner relationships to maximize occupational health collection partners, laboratory and medical review officer(s) networks

·     Implementing cost reductions where recognized/possible

·     Establishing and enforcing organizational standards and best practice methods for team members

·     Open and frequent communication with other department leads, sales and marketing, executive team, and compliance department

·     Analyzing department production and quality and addressing potential opportunities for growth/improvement

·     Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending webinars, obtaining CEUs where possible, receiving additional training, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, joining professional societies such as SAPAA and DATIA, etc.

·     Strategic Planning for succession plan and scalability of department

·     Resolve client escalated issues

·     Maintain current Federal and State Law Regulation, Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulation, and Industry Best Practice knowledge through attendance of webinars and conferences (minimal travel may be required)

·     Obtain C-SAPA (Certified Substance Abuse Program Administration) or equivalent industry certification through CDAPP/SAPAA (Candidates who are already C-SAPA certified will be given preference)

·     Continue to advance knowledge and stay abreast of current trends, enhanced technology, drug testing life cycle, collection process, laboratory process, medical review process and any other tools involving occupational health product suite

·     Strong team member who can foster change and incorporate innovation

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

·     Minimum of 5 years’ experience with demonstrated results occupational health and drug testing services

·     Deep occupational health expertise – MRO management, regulated industries, staffing and staff ramp, technology, process, network, and compliance.

·     Ability to communicate across organizations to sales, product management, and professional services.

·     Excellent organizational skills with the ability to run multiple projects, manage diverse teams and meet deadlines.

Execution and leadership roles in 5-7 Years Occupational Health experience required

3 Years of Leadership Experience

On-site position based in Fort Myers, FL or Manchester, NH

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
