Overview:

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations and is responsible for the development and management of your own pipeline generated by outbound sales calls, internally generated marketing campaigns, incoming leads, GHRR partners, and associations. This position will be responsible for aggressively prospecting and developing accounts, exceeding assigned quotas, and effectively handling the scheduling of appointments throughout the initial stages of the sales cycle. This position will also be required to support and help lead GHRR sales force.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas and expectations.
  • Ability to present and convey information to individuals and business leaders about GHRR products and services effectively.
  • Cold call prospect, and cultivate leads using GHRR’s internal sales CRM and other methods to develop relationships that will result in sales presentations.
  • Capable of persuading prospects to choose GHRR as their pre-employment screening provider.
  • Understand our clients’ and prospects' organizational dynamics and probe to discover needs and key decision makers.
  • Articulate complex concepts and business solutions clearly through web-based and on-site product proposals and demonstrations.
  • Assist and support the RFP/RFQ/RFI generation process as needed.
  • Support the new client implementation process including new client implementation process, agreement management and implementation form submission.
  • Coordinate with internal contacts to resolve issues relating to prospect pricing, discounts, deductions, product support material, and other issues.
  • Participate in regular structured sales and business training programs to improve sales performance.

Required Skills, and Abilities:

  • Successful record of selling pre-employment screening and/ or human capital enterprise solutions to the Fortune 1000 type prospects (including proposals, presentations and complex and at times lengthy sales cycles).
  • Strong desire to succeed & be able to work independently or as needed be part of a team.
  • Some experience as an inside or outside sales leader is preferred.
  • Aggressive and focused sales approach in developing new prospect accounts and building personal relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills; able to create and deliver convincing arguments covering a broad range of complex issues.
  • Demonstrate and employ a consultative, customer-focused selling methodology.
  • Prior experience with RFP/RFQ/RFI response processes.
  • Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effectively handle objections and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

Required Experience:

  • 3 -5 years of business-to-business sales and business development roles with a history of exceeding sales quotas preferably within the human capital and/or pre-employment screening space.
  • 4 years college degree in related field is preferred.
  • Experience with leading an inside or outside sales team is preferred.
