We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior/Research Associate to join our Analytical Developability team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating the developability of antibody-peptide conjugate (APCs) candidates, performing characterization, stability and developability assays to ensure the selection of high-quality drug candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developability Assessments: Execute biophysical assays to assess antibody molecular properties for stability, solubility, and aggregation profiles (e.g., DLS, DSF, HPLC-SEC, SEC-MALS, LC-MS, UV-vis, iCIEF, CE-SDS).
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Meticulously collect, analyze, and document experimental data in an electronic lab notebook (ELN). Present findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Independently troubleshoot assay performance and improve protocols for enhanced robustness and throughput.  Proactively seek solutions to scientific problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Conjugation, Development, Biology and leadership teams to advance molecules from screening to development and nomination.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS or MS in (Bio)chemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 8+ years of industry experience in a biologics drug development research environment.  Specific experience and familiarity with upstream and downstream biologics workflows and analytics.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with characterization of antibodies and antibody drug conjugates, including familiarity with upstream and downstream workflows, particularly purification and characterization.   Understanding of antibody drug conjugate analytics
  • Skills: Communication.  Strong understanding of antibody structure and function. Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize analytical assays.
  • Mindset: Proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment

Salary Range: $95,000 to $115,000+ (Compensation will be commensurate with experience/expertise/level and could fall outside of the stated range)
