The Title Specialist is responsible for sending documents to the title agencies and verifying all information is correct; including sales tax, matching documentation, signatures, etc. Also, they ensure original titles; both perfected and non-perfected are checked in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process all vehicle registrations in the state which the vehicle will be titled.
Assisting title agency in obtaining needed/missing documentation.
Prepare tax and title documents.
Submit documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles where vehicle will be registered.
Maintain and monitor system to verify what titles still need to be received from Vendors/dealers.
Compile and maintain complete list of all outstanding title work to ensure title perfection is completed.
Sign over titles to Customers once their accounts have been paid in full.
Stay abreast of title regulations and attend seminars that are available relating to title regulations.
Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Organized and ability to multi task
Able to communicate effectively verbally in one-on- one situations with customer and other associates either in person, phone or email
2+ years vehicle title experience preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and able to learn Company software
