RTX Fintech Europe develops and operates the 1st fully electronic inter-dealer marketplace for interest rate swaps and other derivatives.  The marketplace is an innovative platform that provides dealers with fast, efficient price discovery, electronic execution and straight-through processing. 

RTX Fintech Europe is a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).

Role Description

This is a hands-on project lead role covering requirements management, quality assurance, client onboarding and trading systems operations support for the MTF in Europe.

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Role Type: Full-time; Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office and 2 days/week remote

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Create functional requirements supporting the MTF business line
  • Develop testing plans and cases covering the MTF business line
  • Create and manage project plans, sprint plans and other artifacts related to software delivery and onboarding
  • Provide day-to-day application training, support and operational oversight of the production support team

Mandatory Experience

  • 5+ years developing functional requirements
  • 2+ years in the financial services industry

Desired Experience

  • Agile/Scrum software development using JIRA
  • Experience trading, clearing or processing interest rate derivatives transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or equivalent degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering or related 
  • Strong understanding of financial products with a preference for fixed income and derivatives
