The Technical Support Specialist will provide first-line remote technical support, user/account administration, and cloud/SaaS management (Microsoft 365, Azure, Zoho). Opportunity to grow into systems, security, and CRM administration. The Technical Support Specialist will be crucial in managing NMSDC's Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring data security, and providing both internal and external user support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues; manage help desk tickets.
  • Handle onboarding/offboarding, account setup, password resets, MFA, and license/device assignments.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Security/Compliance/Identity).
  • Support Azure Active Directory and virtual machines.
  • Monitor and respond to M365/Azure security events (MFA, suspicious logins, permissions reviews).
  • Support Zoho One (CRM and related apps) configuration and administration; assist with HubSpot as needed.
  • Manage third-party services (Barracuda Email Protection, Google Workspace).
  • Assist with disaster recovery/backups and documentation.
  • Document resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge base; assist with training and rollouts.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2-3 years IT support in Microsoft 365/Azure environment; remote user support experience.
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, MFA, permissions, and SaaS administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests; willingness to work occasionally off-hours for maintenance.

 

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Zoho CRM/Desk/Creator or HubSpot.
  • Exposure to help desk/ticketing systems.
