Role Overview
Start your career with hands‑on maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, trailers, and semi‑trucks. You’ll work under experienced mechanics, learn diagnostic techniques, and help keep our fleet of 270+ trucks and 450 trailers in top shape
Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, brake inspections

Support experienced mechanics in tasks like:

Diagnosing electrical systems, AC units, turbos, water pumps, etc.

Trailer and heavy equipment repair

Help maintain a safe and efficient shop environment

Perform safety inspections and minor trailer maintenance

Keep tools and work areas organized

Document work accurately, following MigWay’s high standards
What You Bring
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Basic mechanical aptitude—commercial vehicle/tractor‑trailer experience is a plus

Valid driver’s license; CDL or shop‑equipment experience is helpful, but not required

Strong ability to learn, communicate clearly, and work well on a team

Safety‑focused, reliable, and respectful of tools and shop protocols
Experience & Training

No prior experience required; new grads and trade‑school students welcome

On-the‑job training provided by senior mechanics
