About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern with an interest in inventory management to join our finance and operations team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in inventory tracking, reconciliation, and entry into software systems, particularly Easy Truck Shop and other accounting tools. It’s a great opportunity for college students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with tracking and reconciling inventory transactions.
Support physical inventory counts and match results to software records.
Input and update inventory data into software systems, especially Easy Truck Shop.
Help maintain accurate product records, parts numbers, and quantities in digital systems.
Review inventory adjustments and assist in investigating discrepancies.
Record inventory movements and cost changes in ERP/accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
Assist with the implementation and optimization of inventory modules in Easy Truck Shop.
Support the finance team during month-end closing processes.
Prepare reports and summaries on inventory valuation and turnover.catalog.ccv.edu

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Interest or experience in inventory systems and digital accounting tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Excel; experience with Easy Truck Shop or similar inventory platforms is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different software environments.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
