Essential Job Functions

  •        Advise CEO on all aspects of contract activities, as well as strategic high value contractual matters that have a direct impact on company revenue generation and retention.
  •          Complete comprehensive reviews of client contracts, terms, and conditions. Identify, mitigate, and eliminate unusual risks, liabilities, and remedies in accordance with company policies and sound business judgment. Propose and draft any contractual provisions and amendments deemed appropriate by the CEO. 
  •          Review, draft and/or negotiate a broad range of contracts and agreements, including Nondisclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, Access Letters and Federal, State, and Local Municipality Contracts. Track client deliverables, obligations, requirements, and service level agreements as directed by the CEO.
  •          Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documentation. Identify, document and present questions and assumptions, based on the solicitations, that impact Company contract compliance and strategy to the CEO.
  •          Present management insights regarding key issues and status of contracts relative to all contract requirements.

Position Qualifications

  •        Four years of direct contracts experience, including compliance, technical, customer service, business administration and contract drafting.
  •          Demonstrate an understanding of the contract's life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price, city, state and federal government contract laws and requirements.
  •          Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.
  •          Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel for analysis and data presentation, and PowerPoint for developing effective presentations.
  •          Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines and solicitation requirements.
  •          Experience working in a fast-paced, deliverable centric team environment.

Education

  •        Undergraduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Office setting (located at KJA headquarters in Scottsdale, or remote, for the right candidate)
  • Minimal noise
  • Primarily desk work
  • Repetitive motion and eye strain through extensive utilization of computer hardware and software.
