The Role
To coincide with the launch of the L2 that expands web3’s focus beyond finance, we rebranded CyberConnect to Cyber in May 2024. This unites our on-chain social protocols and developer-centric offerings while spinning out Link3 as its own independent brand.
Link3 is a web3 professional network where verified identities meet value-based communication. Built on the Cyber social network protocol, Link3 is the top choice for 3,000+ teams/organizations, including DyDx, Animoca Brands, and Arbitrum, for sharing verified links and resources with their customers and community members.
We are looking for a marketing manager to take on the responsibilities of market strategy formulation and research, brand management, and other marketing-related works specifically for Link3. This social media/communication wizard will contribute to our socials and content team and take product feature launches, partnership announcements, and content strategy reach its right audience.
What You'll Do:
- Brainstorm, research, and plan out effective and engaging content ideas for Link3 related topics, and how our product developments suit the needs of web3 users.
- Turn these ideas into shareable, compelling, and engaging content by writing articles, social media posts, infographics, presentations, and other communications.
- Manage our social media accounts including but not limited to X/Twitter, Medium, Link3, etc.
- Collaborate with Link3 team members across different departments to gather the necessary content to produce materials.
- Use your knowledge to motivate, inspire, educate, inform, sell, and provide information about Link3 across social and other content platforms.
- Represent Link3 in online and offline industry events.
What We Are Looking For:
- You understand or are interested in web3 and Link3. You are able to identify, research and analyze trends at the intersection of tech and culture and use that knowledge to produce content that is exciting, informative and engaging for the audience.
- You are a good writer. You are a native speaker in both written and spoken English and you are able to translate thoughts into compelling narratives that are accessible to diverse audiences globally.
- You're a savvy social media user. You're experienced with platforms like X/Twitter, Mailbluster, Link3, Substack, and/or LinkedIn. You stay up to date with the latest tools that could help us foster an engaging community.
- You have a strong execution mindset. We're moving fast and there is a lot to do every day. You don't mind getting scrappy!
The ideal candidate will:
- have 3-6 years of relevant work experience in content/product or growth marketing, writing, editing, journalism, or another relevant field.
- have a hands-on mentality and willing to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty with the nitty-gritty.
- have previous experiences in social media content creation and production with outstanding data presentation (e.g. follower growth, likes, retweets, comments).
- fluent in both written and spoken English - preferably a native English speaker.
- beginner-intermediate level graphic/visual design skills is a plus!
